Our Story
A small workshop, a slow practice, and a love for clean fragrance.
Oshus began in 2019 on a quiet stretch of Stockton Road in Chuckey, Tennessee. After years of mixing essential oils in mason jars for friends and family, Amber Schwartz turned a converted garage into a candle workshop. Today every order is still poured, labeled, and packed by hand within a few miles of where the lavender grows.
We believe a candle should smell like the place it came from — like cut hay after a thunderstorm, like the inside of a grandmother's hope chest, like the first wood stove of October. Nothing more, nothing less.

Tucked beneath the Bald Mountains in Greene County. It's quiet here, and that's why the candles smell the way they do.

"Burned for 52 hours and still going. The scent throw is gentle but it fills the whole living room."
"I ordered the gift box for my mother-in-law. She rarely loves anything. She loved this."
